Thank you for your interest in Technica, the world's largest hackathon for underrepresented genders! This fall, students from all over the globe will come to participate and celebrate our tenth year active! Last year, we were happy to welcome over 800 participants from several countries, both at the in-person event and virtually through Gather.

In 24 hours, Technica gives participants the opportunity to create new applications, websites, or hardware projects within one of our five amazing tracks – general, beginner, research, startup, and hardware. Technica caters to all interests and skill levels, and we welcome and encourage hackers of all ages and majors to participate!

We strive to provide an exciting and welcoming atmosphere for beginners in tech to find their footing and gain knowledge and support to help advance their careers. Technica 2024 aims to take a more interdisciplinary approach through the creation of workshops that cater to various fields, thereby encouraging students of all majors to collaborate on projects that combine their interests with technology.
